 I am a real estate broker with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, located in coastal NC. I assist buyers and sellers from Cape Fear to Camp Lejeune achieve their real estate goals. I am one of the few Accredited Land Consultants (ALCs) in the nation, knowledgeable in all fields of land sales including 1031 tax-exchanges, land development, site analysis, land investment analysis, and much more. I'm Residential Construction Certified and a Certified New Home Specialist, meaning I am knowledgeable in the complete construction process, from reading blueprints to explaining the many stages to buyers and sellers. I have earned my Accredited Buyer's Representative designation, trained in all aspects of Buyer's Representation. I am also a Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource, aiming to help homeowners minimize the losses when selling in such a tough market. I have always been a leader, had the desire to serve my peers, & give back to the community and organizations that have helped me succeed. I have served at the Topsail Island Association of Realtors as Secretary for years and was elected as the 2015 President. I serve the Jacksonville Board of Realtors, the NC Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Realtors Land Institute as a volunteer on committees and leadership positions. If you are ready to buy or sell a home, hire Christina Asbury immediately! We can tell you from personal experience that you do not want anyone else representing your best interest. Here is why. Recently we were in the market to build/buy a home. After about three months of looking we were not getting very far with another real estate agent. We found ourselves very frustrated with the entire process and thought we were going to give up and just go back to renting. To make a long story a little shorter we decided to cut ties with our agent and take a break. Christina had been an acquaintance of ours for a few years, so we asked her for advice. We told her what our situation was and what our experience had been with the previous real estate agent. In about 30 minutes she provided us with more answers and insight than our other agent had in 3 months. We decided to give Christina a chance to take the reigns and make things right. All we can say is WOW! This woman is amazing. Within a couple of weeks we were looking at a house that we wanted to make an offer on. However, this house was in foreclosure, already had an offer and was under contract and there was already a backup offer. She contacted the sellers real estate agent and found out that the current bidders were going to back out of the contract. Christina made sure that we were in the running with a backup offer. Thanks to Christina's effort and diligence our offer was the one that was accepted. Then the real work began. There was so much to know about buying a house that there is no way we could have handled it all on our own. Without Christina we would have surely made some major mistakes when buying this house. Her knowledge of the housing market, rules, regulations and processes etc. is second-to-none. But that is not even the most impressive part about working with Christina. She made us feel like we were her only client. She fought for us as if she was making the deals for herself. She fought and got us extra money for closing costs. She fought and got us extra money from the seller to do some much needed repairs. She recommended and worked one-on-one with our lender Patti Davis in Sneads Ferry. Bottom line, Christina handled EVERYTHING for us and communicated with us on a daily basis. It was amazing to see her in action. In hindsight, we could not even imagine how this would have all turned out without Christina. To add the icing on the cake, after we had the keys to our home and started doing some renovating we needed help figuring out how to cut some crown molding. Us "guys" didn't have a clue how to get the angles right. Christina showed up saying "Have no fear, the REALTOR is here!" Within an hour she took all of the measurements and cut all of the pieces of crown molding. Once again she saved the day. I can't say that she will offer her carpentry services to you, the potential client, but I am confident she will do everything else I have stated here, if not more! Finally, we appreciated Christina so much that when my sister was ready to by a house only a month later, I insisted that she contact Christina Asbury to represent her interests. She took my advice and about 45 days later we were helping my sister move into their new home. Don't waste you time or money with anyone else!

Throughout the entire process, Christina was able to answer all of my questions and made my first home purchase a wonderful experience, considering the entire process was done over the phone and internet while I was still overseas on a deployment. My husband is active duty military, so, of course, we move often. We are not new to the real estate game, but every market has it's quirks (and this market was one of the quirkiest we have ever seen)! We tried agent after agent, dealing with six different agents (from other agencies) without satisfaction before a local builder recommended Christina when I was looking for commercial property. I quickly realized we needed to work with her on our home search as well! I like to be really involved in the search and research process and I needed a real estate agent who respected that level of involvement. Christina assisted me every step of the way. I asked her a million question about specific neighborhoods, builders, and listings and she answered every question immediately. When she did not know the answer, she researched it and got back to me. She provided information and education at every step but never tried to sway us or pressure us. She took us to see every home we asked to see (which was MANY) and never balked. Along the way, Christina filled us in on a lot of background information about Sneads Ferry, Holly Ridge and Topsail Island, as well as areas further afield. The short story is the Christina Asbury is an outstanding agent, particularly for clients like us who really wanted to be involved and partner in the process. Every phone call and e-mail was returned promptly, every question answered and every need was met. The long story is the continuing satisfaction we have in a home that was well chosen and a deal that was firmly negotiated. We continue to seek Christina out for recommendations and advice and she continues to exceed our expectations! We consider Christina Asbury our real estate agent! She is an asset to any company and we recommend her highly!
